Arthur Jones Day

As many of you will know Arthur was the founder of Gresford and as so many of us remember him fondly and appreciate what he did for us we are holding a classic open day in his honour.The day will be open to the following boats which were the original classes at GSC Enterprise,GP,Mirror and Solo,all 2 handed boats should be sailed with 2 people onboard.Racing starts at 11.00 with pre race briefing at 10.30,there will be 4 races with 3 to count.We will be awarding the class cups for the winner of each class and then we will also use the reults to decide on an overall winner who will then win the Arthur Jones Trophy.
Please bring your own lunch,there will be hot drinks available

The classic Solo, Enterprise, GP and Mirror class boats will all sail together to give us an exciting day.The class trophies will be awarded to the first placed helm in each class. There will also be an overall winner of all the classes who will win the Arthur Jones Trophy
Bart’s Bash day

This will be a fun watersports day to include the Bart’s race, model boatsetc
Barts Bash in the morning along with the rest of the world then more fun in the afternoon.

We are holding 2 events together they are the Reg Gibbs Day & RS Feva Open Day
This is a day to encourage new and young sailors so if you are under 18 you can enter our RS Feva open boats must have a helm and a crew please click on the link below for more details.
The Reg Gibbs event is for any other boat that has to have helm/crew mix of an experienced sailor and a Rookie (new to sailing ,less than 2 years).
We are hoping to encourage more people to enjoy the racing and therefore continue their sailing commitment.
